Empowered Youth, the global skills-development academy, and IVA Global Online School, the 3D virtual world and learning environment, have partnered in celebration of Human Rights Day (21 March 2021) and are inviting the public to attend the popular “WTF? – What’s The Future?” digital workshop at the 3D venue. This combined effort is aimed at showcasing that Education is a human right, is easily accessible, and can be fun as well as engaging and impactful.
With high costs of Internet connectivity, lack of devices and even electricity outages being issues plaguing many young South Africans, the opportunity for students to access online education and blended-learning techniques are available and are in fact becoming more in-demand as the education sector quickly joins the 4IR. In this powerful and disruptive digital workshop, Empowered Youth challenges the status quo by demonstrating that while online-learning is the ‘new normal’, human interaction and engagement will always be at the root of education.
Students, parents, educational professionals, youth groups, government department representatives, business owners and media are welcome to attend the free, one-hour virtual experience on Thursday 18 March to witness the impact of modern-global-education and experience the world-class 3D facilities for themselves.
